The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Agriculture Research Service requires janitorial service for two (2) buildings at the Central Great Plains Research Station at Akron, Colorado. The Research Station is location 4 miles east of Akron on Highway 34.
This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 561720 The small business size standard is $22 Million. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.

The contractor shall furnish all equipment, transportation, labor, supervision and supplies necessary to maintain the buildings in a clean, sanitary, and acceptable condition. Services include cleaning the main research and office structure (approximately 9,850 square feet) which consists of five labs, twelve offices, a storage room, utility room, and a mechanical room (mechanical room excluded from service), and Building 16 (1,440 square feet). Sixty percent of the floor area is tiled and forty percent is carpeted. Services also include annual window cleaning of approximately 81 windows, with 67 on the main floor and 14 upper windows about 15 feet above floor level.
