USCGC TERRAPIN DOCKSIDE FY2027
PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: 19 January 2027 - 16 February 2027
The contractor must perform a W-5 overhaul of the port and starboard main diesel engines (MDEs) and update the control system configuration. This includes performing an engine condition pre-check, conducting the W-5 maintenance in accordance with MTU manuals, renewing gaskets, seals, o-rings, and other components, installing government-furnished parts such as turbochargers, cylinder heads, and pumps, cleaning and inspecting components, and conducting dock and sea trials. The contractor must also provide a Qualified Technical Representative familiar with MTU marine engines, submit Condition Found Reports, and comply with all applicable SFLC standard specifications.
