The contractor shall assist a team of 2-3 people to conduct vegetation and soil inventories at approximately 32 sites in tropical climate regions, following NRCS and Forest Service protocols. Tasks include planning and logistics, conducting vegetation and soil assessments using approved protocols (including establishing 0.01-hectare fixed-size vegetation inventory plots and variable radius tree plots), recording and entering field data, supporting reporting and preparation of deliverables, and adapting to variable field conditions. Deliverables include field data collection, data entry in NRCS-approved formats, and summary documentation.
