The Offeror shall certify that they currently hold an active U.S. Navy MSRA/ABR Agreement in the Japan Region. Offerors who do not possess a current NAVSUP FLCY MSRA/ABR Agreement shall submit a copy of their approved and active U.S. Navy MSRA/ABR Agreement as a Prime Contractor as part of the proposal package.
This solicitation is intended only for sources duly authorized to operate and do business in Japan, as prescribed by DFARS 252.225-7042. Contractors outside Japan must submit documentation that unambiguously demonstrates the Offeror's compliance with DFARS 252.225-7042 as a part of their proposal.
Contractors located outside Japan that do not unambiguously demonstrate compliance with DFARS 252.225-7042 will not be eligible to receive an award. Any Offeror who do not possess an active MSRA or ABR in the Japan Region, or does not agree to execute a master agreement (MSRA/ABR) in the Japan Region before award of a job order, will not be eligible to receive an award.
The contractor must remove the existing 8-inch IPS refrigerant suction pipe (Quantity One EA) from Auxiliary Machinery Room No. 2 (7-80-0-E), Upper Level, and deliver it to SRF Production Shop. The contractor must then pick up the repaired pipe from SRF Production Shop and install it. Installation includes removing high spots, burrs, abrasions, nicks, corrosion, and foreign matter from exposed flanges and mating surfaces, cleaning existing fasteners for reuse, installing new gaskets, and witnessing an operating pressure test to verify tightness. No leakage is allowed. Refrigerant recovery, evacuation, dehydration, refrigerant charge, and system adjustment will be accomplished by Ship's Force.
