REPLACE TRANSFORMERS AND ELECTRICAL PANELS, NAS OCEANA-285, VIRGINIA BEACH, VA

The contractor must provide supervision, labor, material, and equipment to replace transformers and electrical panels. Work includes disconnecting, removing, and demolishing approximately 12 electrical panels and 13 transformers using Lock-Out/Tag-Out, removing and reinstalling one at a time to minimize downtime. New panel boards and circuit breakers must match existing voltage, amperage, and KAIC ratings; panel boards must be bolt-on type with numbered circuits and visibly marked breaker amperages. The contractor must reuse existing disconnects, provide new properly sized conduit and copper wire, install raised concrete pads under floor-mounted transformers, provide new identification placards and typed directories, and perform manufacturer start-up procedures. All work must comply with applicable codes and standards.
