The project involves repairing and renovating the Dining Facility and Kitchen at Youngstown ARS. The scope includes replacing and reconfiguring stationary serving equipment and associated electrical and plumbing systems; replacing the existing drop ceiling system and light fixtures; redesigning the soffit above the serving line; removing and relocating an interior wall separating the kitchen and dining area; resurfacing or replacing kitchen and serving-area floors; removing wallpaper and painting all walls in the dining area; removing column covers and existing electrical drops; removing all existing flooring and installing new LVT flooring; replacing all dining-area light fixtures with dimmable LED recessed cans; constructing a new interior wall to separate the dining and kitchen serving area; demolishing existing walls in the storage area to create more storage; and removing and infilling the stairwell to the lower level.
