The purpose of this amendment is to extend the proposal due date to August 7, 2026. Additions were also made to Clause E.2 in Amendment 0001 without acknowledgement from most. Most vendors did not provide past performance or a capabilities statement. This will be considered an incomplete proposal and considered unacceptable. Questions and answers will be posted along with Amendment 0003 next week. Please read the entire solicitation and propose accordingly. If you have submitted a proposal and would like to withdraw it after reading solicitation, please do so.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. If you wish to compete for the contract described in Sections A through E of this combined synopsis/solicitation, you must submit a signed and dated quote and all other requested information by the time and date shown on the SF 1449.
The contractor shall install a forward upper zone LED lightbar (48-60 inches), forward lower zone warning lights, forward zone B/D warning lights, aft lower zone C warning lights (rear tailgate and side), a 100W siren speaker with PA system and radio rebroadcast, a siren/switch controller with 9-switch minimum, a Troy CC-WBOS-20 radio console (or equal), FS radio harness prewire for two agency mobile radios with antenna mounts, an aftermarket wiring and power source with timed battery disconnect, Scotchlite 3M reflective striping and decals per illustrations, and a rear security partition for the SUV. The contractor must also provide vehicle manuals, wiring diagrams, and warranty information in electronic and hardcopy format. All work shall comply with OEM specifications, industry standards, NFPA standards, and USFS policies. The contractor must exercise due care to prevent vehicle damage and maintain satisfactory standards of employee competency and conduct.
