400 Hz Cycle Converters - Maintenance, Inspections, and Repairs

The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, travel, lodging, and other items necessary to perform preventative maintenance (quarterly, semi-annual, and annual), diagnostic inspections, and emergency repairs on thirty-nine (39) 400 Hz cycle converters located throughout Tobyhanna Army Depot. The contractor shall inspect, test, maintain, and perform repairs on these systems to ensure they remain fully operational under load. Preventative maintenance includes tasks such as inspecting proper operation under load, implementing Lockout/Tagout protocols, opening panel doors and covers to visually inspect for loose connections and signs of deterioration, cleaning or replacing filters, vacuuming the interior, re-energizing the system and verifying input and output voltages/wattages, and demonstrating proper operation under load to Government representatives. Emergency support services include a 48-hour on-site response for troubleshooting under load, submission of a diagnostic report and repair quote within 15 calendar days, and execution of approved repairs via bilateral contract modification.
