The contractor must furnish all labor, materials, supervision, and equipment to restore the stormwater retention pond. Work includes removing accumulated sediment, leaf debris, cattails, woody vegetation, and non-native vegetation; inspecting and restoring the trash rack; replacing riprap as needed; inspecting, maintaining, and repairing mechanical elements such as valves, sluice gates, locks, and access hatches; calculating nutrient loading reductions (Total Nitrogen and Total Phosphorus); and restoring any disturbed landscape. The contractor must also submit a work plan, safety plan, sediment disposal plan, and final project report. All work must comply with Virginia DEQ regulations, VESMP, and other applicable codes.
