The contractor shall inspect each fire-rated opening, document deficiencies, provide a comprehensive Fire Door Detail Report, and perform Government-authorized repairs and replacements as required.
The contractor shall perform a complete, field verified fire door assessment for GPO Headquarters (Buildings A, B, C, D) at 732 N. Capitol Street NW, Washington, D.C. 20401. The contractor shall inspect each fire-rated opening, record unique door ID, location, type, nominal size, fire rating, label status, leaf configuration, hardware components, date of observation, make/model/serial, deficiency description, quote for repair or replacement, expected/remaining useful life, pass/fail per NFPA 80 inspection criteria, photos, and recommended corrective action. The contractor shall submit a Work Plan within 10 days of NTP, an NFPA 80 Inspection Checklist within 10 days of NTP, a Fire Door inventory and deficiency matrix within 90 days of NTP, and a Final Fire Door Report. Option CLIN 2001 authorizes fire door repairs on a Time-and-Materials basis, and Option CLIN 3001 authorizes fire door replacements on a Firm-Fixed-Price basis, with a maximum inventory of up to 250 fire door assemblies. All work shall comply with NFPA 80, NFPA 101, IBC, IFC, and DC Construction Codes.
