The U.S. Embassy London requires asbestos abatement services at a residence in London as detailed in the attached Statement of Work and supporting documentation. An award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible Contractor. The Government may award a Purchase Order / Contract based on an initial offer without discussion.
Any awards made are firm fixed price type agreements and payments for services will be made after being provided based on quantities and unit prices only to the extent specifically provided in the contract. Contractors should submit invoices for payment after services have been received. Payment is made by electronic funds transfer to contractor’s bank account.

The contractor shall provide all necessary managerial, administrative and direct labour personnel as well as supply, deliver and install all the materials, provide all the access equipment, tools and permits and the warranty to undertake the work. The work includes asbestos removal in the attic, asbestos removal from radiator covers, asbestos removal from the garage, air tests (four-stage clearance), and technical deliverables. The contractor is also responsible for making good of all the elements disrupted, safely disposing of all redundant materials and equipment, clearing, cleaning and tidying the site daily and professionally cleaning the site at the end of the project. The contractor shall complete the work in no longer than 10 calendar days (2 weeks) from the day stated in the NTP.
