Network Connectivity Fiber Network Backbone

The contractor shall provide a comprehensive, outcome-based managed optical network backbone service including: fiber plant provisioning and maintenance; network equipment lifecycle management; 24x7 network operations and incident management with Priority 1 response within 15 minutes; capacity, engineering, and modernization for 10/40/100 Gbps backbone and future 400 Gbps capabilities; secure network links with end-to-end encryption using FIPS-validated ciphers; cloud interconnect operations for AWS Direct Connect and GCP Interconnect; documentation and knowledge transfer; testing, resilience, and service validation with 99.99% uptime per service per calendar month; domestic service delivery from U.S.-based facilities; and transition phase-in/phase-out planning.
