The project includes constructing a power plant composed of six diesel generators (each 830 eKW, 1,038 KVA, 4,160 V) meeting Overseas Environmental Baseline Guidance Document standards, two fuel storage tanks, a fuel polishing system, fuel offloading and distribution, diesel exhaust fluid offloading with conditioned storage and distribution, and a steel-framed metal canopy over a concrete slab with containment. The primary electrical distribution system includes underground electrical infrastructure, substation switchgear, a paralleling PLC system, underground PVC conduit in concrete-encased duct banks, medium-voltage pad-mounted switchgear, and a pad-mounted transformer. The work is located at Chabelley Airfield, Djibouti, Africa.
