Yellowstone National Cemetery Total Cemetery Operations

The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, supervision, and other items and services necessary for cemetery operations and maintenance at Yellowstone National Cemetery. Services include grounds maintenance (mowing, string trimming, aeration, dethatching, blade edging, overseeding, fertilizer, weed control, pest control), unimproved maintenance, ornamental maintenance, leaf collection/floral removal/trash disposal, turf establishment/repair, sunken grave repair, interment operations (casket traditional, casket crypt, cremains in-ground), initial headstone setting, headstone raise and realign, headstone and paver cleaning, hard surface maintenance (power washing sidewalks, snow/ice removal, sweeping/blowing roads/sidewalks), irrigation maintenance and repair, place and remove grave flags (Memorial Day set up), and janitorial services for restrooms. The contractor is also responsible for grave excavation and backfilling, transporting remains, and maintaining a professional appearance in accordance with National Shrine standards.
