SCOPE: The Army Contracting Command - Detroit Arsenal (ACC-DTA) has issued a solicitation for a new five-year, Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for the manufacture and delivery of the Vision Correction Assembly.
This is a non-commercial requirement to be manufactured in accordance with a Government-owned Technical Data Package (TDP). The contract will also include requirements for First Article Testing (FAT), Production Lot Testing (PLT) and other Contract Data Requirements (CDRLs).
TECHNICAL DATA PACKAGE (TDP): The TDP associated with this procurement is export-controlled (Distribution Statement D) and requires special handling. To be eligible to gain access to the TDP when the solicitation is released, interested offerors must have a current and valid DD Form 2345, "Militarily Critical Technical Data Agreement" certification on file with the U.S./Canada Joint Certification Office (JCO). The contractor will manufacture the Vision Correction Assembly in accordance with a Government-owned, export-controlled Technical Data Package, across five one-year ordering periods with a guaranteed minimum of 30,690 EA and a maximum of 1,216,196 EA. The contract includes First Article Testing, Production Lot Testing, and various Contract Data Requirements (CDRLs), with items delivered FOB Destination to Blue Grass Army Depot in Richmond, KY (100%), with the contractor paying transportation costs.
