USAO Schwartz Conference Room Display Upgrade

THIS IS A SYNOPSIS OF PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION OR A REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS. PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE IS POSTED IN THE GOVERNMENTWIDE POINT OF ENTRY IN ACCORDANCE WITH FAR 12.201-1(c)(2) [GSA Class Deviation RFO-2025-12]

The General Service Administration (GSA) announces a proposed contract action for the award of a firm-fixed-price commercial construction contract located in San Diego, CA.

This acquisition will be conducted using FAR Part 12 [GSA Class Deviation RFO-2025-12], Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services, in conjunction with the simplified procedures at FAR 12.201-1 [GSA Class Deviation RFO-2025-12]. In accordance with FAR 12.201-1(c)(2) [GSA Class Deviation RFO-2025-12], quotations will be solicited directly from at least three sources. This pre-solicitation notice is posted in the Governmentwide Point of Entry (GPE) to promote competition to the maximum extent practicable.

The Schwartz USCH has a requirement to remove the existing projector system and installation of a new wall mounted display system. The project primarily involves repairing of prep and paint components to the ceiling but includes a construction component to wire and mount the new displays to the wall.

The proposed project is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside.
The NAICS code for this requirement is 238210 - Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors.

The anticipated award date is July 20, 2026.

This construction effort magnitude is under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold ($350,000).

This acquisition is being conducted under FAR Part 12 [GSA Class Deviation RFO-2025-12] for Commercial Services and is set aside 100 percent for small business. You must be registered in www.sam.gov as a small business (see FAR provision 52.219-1 [GSA Class Deviation RFO-2025-12] in the Representations & Certifications section of your www.sam.gov registration).
