The contractor is required to perform evaluation and repair services on two Government Furnished Property (GFP) Drier, Air-gas, desic units. Evaluation includes inspection, disassembly, and tests to determine the extent of labor and material needed to restore the GFP to an operable condition, defined as capable of functioning and performing as a new unit without necessarily having the appearance of newness. Repair services include labor and material required to repair and package the GFP in accordance with drawing revision unless otherwise specified. The contractor must also comply with packaging, preservation, packing, and marking (PPP&M) requirements, and items that do not conform may result in a Supply Discrepancy Report or corrective action at the contractor's expense.
