Pisgah North Ranger District Ditch Culvert Replacements and Road Reconditioning

The contractor will remove and dispose of existing ditch relief culverts off government land, install 24-inch aluminized corrugated metal ditch relief pipes (CMP), reshape/reform ditches for positive drainage, install rip-rap for outlet structures and sediment/erosion control, sediment traps, lined ditches, drop inlets, catch basins, flanged culvert inlets, headwalls, perform road elevation alterations, excavation and backfill (in situ cut/fill materials including soil, rock, water), install new or replacement culverts with attention to cover, skew, inverts, slope and grade, and clear/unclog culverts or ditches. The work also includes roadside brushing and mowing, roadway excavation and embankment, placed riprap, aggregate surface course, roadway rehabilitation, asphalt concrete patching, turf establishment, temporary traffic control, and GIS data collection for drainage culvert asset status and location.
