Fire Suppression And Fire Alarm Inspection, Testin

The contractor shall furnish all labor, qualified personnel, supervision, tools, equipment, and materials necessary to perform inspection, testing, and required annual maintenance services for fire suppression systems (conventional wet or dry pipe sprinkler systems and FM-220 clean agent systems) in approximately 5 to 8 buildings per year, and annual inspection and testing services for fire alarm systems in 16 buildings per year. Work includes scheduling non-emergency shutdowns with the Facility Manager, providing backup protection when systems are out of service for more than 4 hours, and testing affected portions after any shutdown. The contractor must submit an inspection and testing schedule within 30 days of receiving the delivery order and provide an Inspection and Testing report within 14 days after completing inspection and testing, including any deficiencies and individual costs to correct each deficiency.
