This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products and commercial services prepared in accordance with the format Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.202, “Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Products and Commercial Services,” as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued.
This solicitation is issued as an RFQ. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2026-01 effective date: 03/13/2026.

The Battle Creek VA Medical Center, located at 5500 Armstrong Rd., Battle Creek, MI 49037-7314, has a requirement for elevator annual inspections, semi-annual inspections, 3-year full load testing on hydraulic elevators and a 5-year full load test on traction elevators.
The contractor shall provide all labor, transportation, supplies, and supervision to perform semi-annual and annual inspections, 3-year and 5-year load testing, and rupture valve testing on all 18 elevators at the Battle Creek VA Medical Center. The contractor must monitor no-load, full-load, and special tests as required by ANSI/ASME A17.1 and A17.2, conducted by the preventive maintenance contractor. All testing and annual inspections shall be completed by mid-June of the contract year; semi-annual testing by mid-December. The contractor shall provide a Quality Control Plan and submit all required documentation to the COR no later than 14 days from the last inspection.
