The United States Coast Guard Cutter KANKAKEE, located at 2 A.W. Willis Ave, Memphis, TN 38105, requires a contractor to furnish all labor, tools, materials, transportation, equipment, supervision, and personnel necessary to demolish, remove, and dispose of the existing levee security fencing and construct two new levee security fences in accordance with the attached Statement of Work.
The new fencing will be approximately 450 linear feet total, 8 feet tall, and include barbed wire at the top. Work includes disposal of existing fencing and construction debris, coordination of staging and laydown areas, site safety controls, utility verification, cleanup, required submittals, and closeout documentation.
The contractor shall comply with all applicable federal, state, and local safety and environmental requirements. The contractor shall not use Coast Guard waste disposal facilities. Disposal receipts from the landfill shall be submitted within 10 working days of disposal. Work shall be performed on an operational Coast Guard installation, and contractor personnel must comply with all Coast Guard fire, traffic, safety, and security regulations.
Normal working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, unless otherwise approved. The contractor shall complete all work within 90 calendar days after receiving the Notice to Proceed (NTP).
A mandatory site visit is required prior to submitting a quote. Please coordinate with the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) for site visit arrangements.

The Government will evaluate technical acceptability based on the offeror’s ability to meet the Statement of Work requirements, including demolition/removal, disposal, construction of the new levee security fencing, safety, environmental compliance, schedule, security requirements, and required submittals.
Past performance will be evaluated for relevance, quality, and timeliness of similar work, including fence construction, security fencing, site work, exterior construction, demolition/removal, or comparable construction projects. Offerors with no relevant past performance may receive a neutral rating.
