The U.S. Embassy General Services Office (GSO), on behalf of the Local Guard Force (LGF), requires a qualified contractor to provide turnkey design and build services for metallic shade cover structures at two (2) Sally Port CAC gate locations within the Phora Compound. The objective from a Facility Management perspective is to introduce assets that are highly durable, weather-resistant, and low-maintenance, improving working conditions for security personnel without introducing operational vulnerabilities or compromising structural safety.
The contractor is responsible for the design, fabrication, and installation of metallic shade cover structures at two Sally Port CAC gate locations within the Phora Compound. The project includes a 1-month fabrication track for off-site steel preparation and a 15-day installation track for on-site foundations, structural welding, anchoring, assembly, multi-coat painting, site cleanup, and final handover. The contractor must comply with OSHA 29 CFR 1926 standards, USACE EM 385-1-1, and obtain a Hot Work Permit for any spark- or flame-producing activities. A Site Safety and Health Plan (SSHP) and Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs) must be submitted and approved prior to work. The contractor must provide a one-year warranty on all structural materials, fabrication craftsmanship, and paint finishes.
