This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.
Solicitation number 1232SA26Q1107 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the procurement of a Elementar Vario Max Cube.
This acquisition is not set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 334516 The small business size standard is 1,000 Employees. This acquisition is an unrestricted requirement. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
Statement of Requirement
This requirement is for Elementar Vario Max Cube in accordance with the attached Specifications.
Vendors are required to be active and registered in the System for Award Management at www.sam.gov when submitting a quote and at time of award (FAR 52.204-7(b)(1)). Payment will be made utilizing the Department of the Treasury Invoice Processing Platform at www.ipp.gov.

Quotes are due no later than 4:00 pm Central Standard Time on Wednesday, August 12, 2026. Quotes must be submitted electronically, e-mailed to lynn.hults@usda.gov; no faxed or hard copy quotes are allowed.
Responses must include detailed specifications that show the capability of providing the required Grain Drill. Quotes that merely offer to provide the equipment as described in the specifications without comparative specification will not receive further consideration for award.
The final day for question submission is 3:00 pm Central Standard Time on Friday, August 7, 2026.
The contractor must supply a combustion-type CN analyzer that uses a high-temperature furnace with oxygen dosing for carbon and nitrogen analysis, capable of analyzing sample sizes up to 5g or 5mL (solids and liquids), with an autosampler holding up to 90 samples, precision to measure C at 10ppm in soil with up to 500mg total C detection, ability to use helium or argon as carrier gas, automatic residual ash removal, and compatibility with Elementar VarioMAX consumables. The analyzer must fit on a 2m x 2m bench, be controlled via a Windows PC, and include a 10-year warranty on the furnace and thermal conductivity detector cell. Deliverables include the Vario MAX cube, a computer, regulators, consumables, and a calibration set, all due by September 29, 2026.
