The contractor must supply five (5) new, industrial-grade cylinder-bed bottom hemming machines suitable for production garment bottom hemming. Each machine must have a 5-thread configuration (3 needle threads, 1 looper thread, 1 top cover stitch thread), a needle gauge of 5.6 mm, a cylinder-bed configuration, a cylinder-mounted top assembly, a bottoms air-folder system, automatic/programmable thread trimming and presser-foot lifting functions, a computer-controlled servo motor, and be complete with table, stand, drawers and work light. Machines must be delivered fully assembled, sewn off and production-tested prior to shipment, and configured for the required 5.6 mm gauge. The vendor must provide all necessary components and accessories and identify the manufacturer and model proposed. Price must include all delivery costs to the Government's designated location.
