Fabricate two (2) boat landing platforms that can be suspended above the water alongside a ship at Suisun Bay Reserve Fleet. The platforms will be used to land a ship’s accommodation ladder upon its deck, and to dock a water taxi, work boat or patrol boat alongside to debark and embark personnel.

8/7/2026 Amendment 0001: The purpose of this amendment is to: a. Extended the "Date Offers Due: to 8/19/2026; b. Revise Attachment 2; and c. Post Questions and Answers. Documents are attached to the sam.gov posting.
The contractor must fabricate two (2) boat landing platforms from 316L stainless steel per the provided fabrication drawings (Attachment 4), using ER316L filler metal, 316 or equivalent hardware, UHMWPE fendering per ASTM D6712, and fiberglass grating. Welding must comply with AWS D1.6, and weld-affected zones must be Scotch-Brite cleaned and polished. The contractor must provide material test reports or certificates of conformance for the 316L stainless steel, ER316L filler metal, and stainless-steel hardware, and manufacturers' cut sheets for fiberglass grating, UHMWPE, and fendering. The contractor must deliver the completed platforms to Suisun Bay Reserve Fleet, 2595 Lake Herman Road, Benicia, CA 94510, within 45 days after award. The Government will conduct inspections virtually or on-site (if local to the greater San Francisco Bay Area) and will offload the delivery truck with a forklift.
