Quotes will be at least be Evaluated on the following to points.
The contractor must be qualified to service Northwind turbine systems and operate independently without direct government
supervision. This needs to be proven by submission of industry accepted certificates. Will also be evaluated on, Attachment 1 Statement of Work Wind Turbine.
B) Ability to meet the requirements listed: The Northwind 100 is a utility-scale wind turbine model, and all major systems drive train, blades, generators, gearboxes, hydraulics, and control systems which means they are capable of performing maintenance on this type of turbine.
The contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, and supervision necessary to perform work required for the daily monitoring and routine maintenance of the Wind Turbine at Pine Ridge Job Corps. This includes inspecting, cleaning, and lubricating all rotating parts on an annual basis. All services shall be performed in accordance with manufacturer specifications and applicable safety standards. The contract includes a base period and four option years with one base year item and four optional year items, each priced lump sum for yearly preventative maintenance.
