The project contains two segments of fence, the total length of the fence to be repaired is approximately 11,458 feet or 2.17 mapped miles. The project also contains an earthen stock tank that needs to be cleaned of the excess sediment in order to properly collect water for wildlife and livestock use.
The contractor must furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, and materials (except fence materials which are supplied) to repair/reconstruct about 11,458 feet of 4-strand fence in the Grapevine/Bottle Allotment area, and to remove excess sediment from Tex Canyon Stock Tank using heavy equipment. Work includes clearing fence lines, setting posts, installing wire, and removing all waste. The contractor will also reconstruct a two-segment fence: north segment (Range 2, Township 14N, Sections 4 & 9) and south segment (Range 2, Township 14N, Sections 9, 15, 16). At least every 10th T-post must be retained from the existing fence. The contractor must reuse or remove material. The tank cleaning must not exceed the original footprint and any spare sediment must reinforce the dam and spillway. Work may begin after a pre-work meeting and must be completed within 90 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed.
