The Department of Veterans Affairs Network 08 Contracting Office has a requirement for the Microbiology Department of the Pathology and Laboratory Service within the Miami VAHCS. The department needs a lease/reagent rental (cost per kit/test) agreement to cover equipment, service calls (including routine maintenance beyond manufacturer recommended user maintenance), reagents and consumables. Testing is for real-time PCR nucleic acid analysis to rapidly detect (at the minimum): Clostridium difficile including the Epidemic 027 Strain from stool (CDT), Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) from nasal swabs, SARS-CoV-2, FLU A&B/RSV virus, SARS-CoV-2 virus, Strep A from throat swabs and detection of Mycobacterium tuberculosis resistance to Rifampin (MTB/RIF) from sputum. The contract shall be for Base and up to four (4) Option Years.

No solicitation packages will be mailed. Responses must be concise and be specifically directed to the requirement referenced above. It is the offeror s responsibility to monitor Sam for changes or amendments.
