This is a pre-solicitation notice published in accordance with FAR Subpart 5.1 and RFO 12.201-1(c)(2). The Defense Health Agency (DHA) Healthcare Contracting Division – South (HCD-S) intends to solicit quotations directly from commercial suppliers under the simplified procedures of RFO Part 12. The contractor shall provide preventive and corrective maintenance in accordance with manufacturers’ recommendations on specified Leica Microsystems equipment, including manual microtomes, tissue embedding units, tissue processors, slide stainers, cover slippers, and transfer stations. All service and maintenance shall be performed by technically competent, Leica certified, professional service technicians.
