Kerr Powerhouse, two new pumps for the John H. Kerr Powerhouse dam sump, and three pumps for the sump at Philpott Powerhouse. The intent is to replace the existing pumps with pumps that perform in the same way as the existing pumps meeting the specifications within the attached Statement of Work. The resulting award issued from this request will result in one award.
The contractor shall supply two new pumps for the sump at John H. Kerr Powerhouse (Flowserve Model 8EMM-4 or equivalent), two new pumps for the John H. Kerr Powerhouse dam sump (Peerless Pump Model 8HXB or equivalent), two pumps for the sump at Philpott Powerhouse (American Marsh Pump Model 8KC or equivalent), and one unwatering pump for Philpott Powerhouse (American Marsh Pump Model 10YC or equivalent). All new pumps and motors will be installed by Government personnel. The contractor must submit new pumps and motors for approval before ordering, and all equipment must be delivered within 120 days of award.
