Vandenberg Crane Replacement

The contractor must remove the existing indoor overhead crane system and provide a new under running single-girder bridge crane system with two cross-mounted monorail hoists in Building 9320 at Vandenberg Space Force Base, California. The work includes engineering, fabrication, delivery, installation, testing, and commissioning. The requirement applies to non-critical lifting operations only; operator training, daily inspections, and routine crane operations are performed by Government personnel and are outside the scope. The contractor must also deliver various data items including a Crane Removal Plan, Structural & Mechanical Drawings/Calculations, Electrical Documentation, Commercial O&M Manuals, a Proposed Spare Parts List, Manufacturer Test Reports & Certs, a Test Plan, Final Test Reports & Crane Certification, an NDE Plan, a Maintenance Plan, an Integrated Master Schedule, an Environmental Safety and Occupational Health Plan, and a Quality Control Plan.
