This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for non-commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 36, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and no other written solicitation will be issued.

The U.S. Coast Guard Contractor shall repair roof at multi-purpose building replacement of hardware, gutter patching, sealing, and painting on all damaged surfaces to achieve a sealed, leak free roof system. (See Scope of Work)

FAR 52.237-1 -- Site Visit (Apr 1984). Offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.

The contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, equipment, hardware, and materials for the replacement of hardware, gutter patching, sealing, and painting on all damaged surfaces to achieve a sealed, leak free roof system. Work includes providing and installing all new, unused parts and materials; replacement of all associated parts, material, hardware; and providing all materials associated with completion of the project. The contractor must complete a site visit prior to bidding, dispose of all old materials, comply with hot work requirements, coordinate staging with the Coast Guard POC, and comply with OSHA and industry safety standards. The total contract performance period is 120 calendar days, with work performed Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 4:00pm. The contractor is responsible for work site safety, cleanup, and compliance with all federal, state, and local environmental regulations. A standard one-year warranty shall be provided for all labor and materials.
