GAOA Barracks Renovation Phase 2 Tahoe NF

The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, and equipment to renovate multiple barracks and residences on the Tahoe National Forest. Base work includes: mobilization; bathroom renovation (replace all fixtures, shower/tub, toilet, cabinets, flooring, paint) at Sierraville Barracks 1033, Foresthill Residence C 1015, Foresthill Residence 1016, Foresthill Barracks 1017, and Engine Barracks 0018; remove and replace all doors and locks at multiple buildings; remove and replace all carpet and flooring with commercial-grade laminate vinyl plank flooring at specified buildings; remove and replace all kitchen cabinets and countertops at specified buildings; replace roof with 50-year composition shingle materials at Sierraville Barracks 1033, Sierraville Ranger Residence 1029, and Foresthill Residence C 1015; install new horizontal wood siding on top of asbestos siding at Sierraville Ranger Residence 1029; remove and replace siding with Horizontal Hardy board type siding at Engine Barracks 0018. Optional work includes flooring replacement at Big Bend Residence 1022, Big Bend Barracks 1028, Bullards Residence 1008, and Bullards Barracks 1049, plus a bathroom renovation at Bullards Barracks 1049. The contractor must also perform HAZMAT mitigation for asbestos-containing materials, leaving flooring materials known for containing asbestos in place and installing new flooring on top, with no demolition of textured walls.
