Florida Regional Center Training Skills Class Renovation

The project will combine training Room #135 and recently vacated office spaces in Rooms #133 by demolishing office walls in Rm #133 and the partition wall between 133 and 135. Remaining bulkhead will be wrapped with drywall and painted. All fixtures such as doors and door hardware shall be turned over to the onsite DOS representative or hauled away. The Storage/Equipment Room in Rm 135 will remain intact. An additional office will be built adjacent to the Storage/Equipment Room. Current entrance Door 133 will be closed and relocated, and a new entrance will be built into an inset cove. Existing Door 137 will also be inset to provide proper egress. Pass-through doors will be added from Rm 131 to Storage Rm and from Storage Rm to the New Training Area. Paint and flooring finishes will be refreshed and replaced; all walls within the new training area will receive 2 coats of paint, and the portion of wall in the hallway disturbed by door relocations will receive 2 coats of paint to match existing. Existing flooring in both Rm #133 and #135 will be demolished and new carpeting installed throughout the New Training Room, extending into the cove and terminated at the hallway. All electrical and data drops within the walls being demolished will be relocated per provided plans. Motion detectors tied to lighting within Rm 133 will be disconnected, and 2 new 3-way light switches will be installed.
