The contractor shall clean nine underground fuel storage tanks, remove sludge and sediment, polish the fuel, perform pre- and post-work fuel sampling and laboratory testing, and replenish diesel fuel. The work includes lockout/tagout, permit-required confined-space entry, fuel transfer, tank disassembly and reassembly, filter and strainer cleaning, waste disposal, and final restoration of the emergency fuel system. The contractor must provide a Quality Control Plan and comply with all safety, environmental, and performance standards outlined in the Performance Work Statement.
