The Roadway Repair & Maintenance (RRM) division of the Department of Transportation is seeking appropriately qualified vendors to provide Roadway Engineering, Data Collection, Design, Inspection, and Related Services to assist the Department in its daily workflow and to assist in the development of projects to improve roadway pavement and drainage, to conduct studies to allow the initiation of capital projects to improve elements of the limited access arterial system; to evaluate materials and equipment proposed for Agency use; to support DOT facilities environmental and legal compliance; and other purposes as exemplified in the typlical tasks. This Procurement is subject to participation goals for New York States Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) as required by FHWA; however, there is no DBE goal set for this project. A Pre-Proposal Conference has been scheduled for September 17, 2026, at 10:00 AM through the Microsoft Teams link.

The consultant will provide engineering, data collection, design, inspection, and related services including but not limited to: topographic survey, drainage study and flooding alleviation solution development, asphalt pavement evaluation/inspection/analysis, geotechnical engineering and subsurface investigation, preparation of engineering reports, detailed estimating work and cost, materials engineering and testing, shop drawing and submittal review, equipment evaluation, site plan development, software systems development and customization/technical training, special projects, environmental engineering and permitting, and facility operations and maintenance. Work will be performed under individual task orders issued throughout the contract term.
