The project involves construction management services for the rehabilitation of a 17 MGD combined pump station to a 60 MGD combined pump station. The scope includes replacement and upgrade of existing pumping equipment (five 13MGD pumps, three sump pumps, two sluice gates, one manual bar rack), replacement of pump suction piping and valves, pump discharge piping, pump around connection piping, surge relief valve and piping, and sump pump discharge piping. It also includes installation of a new 48-inch ductile iron force main via open cut and microtunnelling, inspection and rehabilitation of an existing 42-inch cast iron force main, construction of a valve chamber, installation of 60-inch RCP sewer pipe and tie-in to the 60-inch West interceptor, construction of a new one-story above-grade structure for flood protection, site modifications (utilities, paving, fencing, drainage, landscaping), installation of a permanent outdoor generator, and comprehensive upgrades to electrical and power systems, HVAC, plumbing, instrumentation, controls, and pump control systems, as well as structural repairs, safety upgrades, and wet well modifications.
