The Work to be performed under this Contract includes furnishing all labor, materials, travel time, equipment and all other Work incidental thereto necessary or required to provide the complete repair, monitoring, maintenance, inspection and testing of Agency fire detection devices, equipment and systems at Agency facilities located throughout the Citys five (5) boroughs. All Work designed, filed, performed and materials furnished under this Contract shall conform to the applicable requirements of the appropriate corresponding rules and regulations including without limitation the New York City Department of Buildings (DOB), New York City Fire Department (FDNY), and National Fire Protection Association Code 72 (NFPA 72). This Request for Bids is released through PASSPort, New York Citys online procurement portal.
Responses to this CSB must be submitted via PASSPort. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, travel time, and equipment to provide monthly primary and secondary monitoring services, semi-annual inspection and maintenance, and service and repair of fire alarm systems at various Parks facilities. Work includes constant alarm monitoring 24/7, emergency communication with NYPD and FDNY, coordinating site inspections, inspecting and verifying alarm system performance, performing preventative maintenance and cleaning, and replacing or repairing detectors, devices, conduits, wiring, alarms, and other elements. The Contractor must also provide, install, program, test, and commission FDNY-approved Dual Path communication devices as directed. All work must conform to NYC DOB, FDNY, and NFPA 72 requirements.
