Welin Lambie Davit Overhaul and Renewal Services

The Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, material, services, equipment, supplies, power, accessories, and such other things as are necessary, except as otherwise specified, to inspect, test, and overhaul or renew a Welin-Lambie TW.PIV 5.0B Dual Point Davit in accordance with the solicitation and attached specification. Work Item 1 covers inspection, testing, and overhaul of the davit including disassembly, inspection, overhaul of components, NDE, pressure gauge calibration, lubrication, and post-overhaul operational tests (no-load, static brake at 16,500 lbs, dynamic load at 13,750 lbs, emergency hand hoisting at 12,100 lbs). Work Item 2 covers renewal of the davit including installation of Government-furnished davit, NDE of new installations, davit modification/relocation, and post-renewal operational tests. Work Item 3 covers storage and shipping of the Government-furnished davit from contractor facility to the place of performance and shipping the removed davit to the Coast Guard Warehouse.
