Timeline of Events:
Questions for Clarification - no later than September 24, 2026
Pre-Proposal Conference - Week of September 28, 2026, if necessary
Submissions due - no later than October 2, 2026.
The subcontractor shall complete the detailed design of the ALS-U SR Power Supplies rack assemblies, including 3D models, detailed rack assembly and production drawings, drafting documentation packages for bus bars and mechanical parts, electrical diagrams, and interconnect/cable harness designs for 16 distinct rack layouts (6 Standard Sector, 6 Hard Bend Sector, 4 ATS/STA). The work also includes post-design support such as responses to vendor questions, reviews of vendor-submitted materials, and drawing updates during fabrication. The design shall be performed in Autodesk Inventor format, and the preferred approach is parallel design to complete by January 31, 2027.
