The Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials, parts, transportation, supervision, and specialized equipment necessary to perform all inspections, testing, maintenance, repairs, and emergency services outlined in this PWS.
The Contractor shall test all Fire Alarm System devices at the Montgomery campus in accordance with NFPA 25 (Standard for the Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance of Water-Based Fire Protection Systems), NFPA 72 (National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code), and VA requirements.
The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials, parts, transportation, supervision, and specialized equipment to perform inspections, testing, maintenance, repairs, and emergency services. Work includes testing all fire alarm system devices (strobes, pull stations, smoke detectors, heat detectors, duct detectors, supervisory devices, waterflow devices) in Buildings 1, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 12, 13, 14, 20, T25, T27, T28, and 40 in accordance with NFPA 25, NFPA 72, and VA requirements. The contractor shall also inspect and test approximately 35 sprinkler waterflow switches and 50 sprinkler tamper switches campus-wide. The contractor must provide 24/7 emergency service with on-site response within four hours and repairs completed within 24 hours. The contract includes a base period of one year and four one-year options.
