The contractor shall inspect the water damaged area, remove and save existing standing seam roofing panels on the back of the building, prepare the attic area to prevent debris from falling into office space, disconnect power from existing snow melt heaters and remove them, remove and properly dispose of damaged materials (approximately 700 sq. ft of sheathing, 700 sq. ft of 18” spray foam insulation, 700 sq. ft of underlayment, and any damaged flashing that cannot be reused), install new sheathing plywood in kind, replace underlayment with high heat ice and water shield over the new plywood, install new metal flashing as needed, reinstall existing standing seam roof panels in accordance with manufacturer specifications, replace all damaged roof boots in the leak affected area, replace roof heaters and reconnect power, apply 18 inches of new spray foam insulation to the underside of the new sheathing, and remove all debris protection from the attic.
