Lead Acid Batteries for USCG Patrol Boats

The contractor must furnish brand name or equal lead acid batteries (CLINs 1-14) and provide vendor-furnished delivery of new batteries, vendor-performed pick-up of used batteries, and vendor-performed HAZMAT disposal of used batteries for USCG Patrol Boat Cutters. Delivery, pick-up and disposal must be offered in at least 42 of the 61 geographic service areas listed on TABLE A, covering locations throughout the Continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam and Southwest Asia. New battery delivery is required within specified lead times (e.g., 15 days for routine CONUS and Puerto Rico, 5 days for emergency CONUS and Puerto Rico). Used battery pick-up must be scheduled within 7 business days of a USCG request. The contractor assumes 100% responsibility for inspecting used batteries for transport suitability and for HAZMAT disposal in compliance with all applicable regulations.
