The contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, materials, services, equipment, supplies, power, accessories, and facilities to perform dockside repairs on the CGC ALERT. Work items include renewing flexible couplings on main diesel engines and generators; cleaning, inspecting, and hydrostatically testing seawater heat exchangers; cleaning and flushing the chill water system; renewing ship's service boilers; cleaning and inspecting potable water pneumatic tanks, hot water accumulator tanks, grey water holding tanks, and sewage holding tanks; renewing sewage discharge and vacuum pumps; cleaning and flushing sewage piping; optionally preserving grey water and sewage holding tanks; providing temporary heating and cooling; renewing fire and smoke thermal detector sensors; replacing reduction gear lube oil strainer assemblies; renewing bridge windows; renewing chill water piping insulation; renewing steam system valves; renewing a sewage riser; optionally renewing a thrust bearing; repairing the starboard embarkation station; and inspecting and servicing the single point davit.
