Code of Virginia § 45.2-1633 (Virginia Gas and Oil Act) lets an operator file a blanket bond covering multiple wells, in an amount the statute fixes by well count: $25,000 for one to 10 wells, $50,000 for 11 to 50, $100,000 for 51 to 200, and $200,000 for more than 200.
