The $3,000 tier is the standard Oregon landscape contractor bond — the amount ORS 671.690 names for most applicants licensed by the Landscape Contractors Board. Premiums start from $100, and the application collects no credit information.

The standard $3,000 landscape bond is the simplest thing in surety. Here's the entire process:
Business details and an effective date. That's the application — no financials, no credit fields.
The $3,000 landscape bond issues right after purchase for most applicants. At most, 1–2 business days.
Your executed bond arrives by email, ready to file with the Landscape Contractors Board. Wet-ink original mailed on request.
Oregon licenses landscaping businesses through its dedicated Landscape Contractors Board (LCB), and conditions the license on a surety bond under ORS 671.690. The $3,000 amount is the standard tier the statute names for most applicants.
The bond guarantees you complete work properly and meet your payment obligations under ORS Chapter 671. If you fail to perform or pay as the law requires, an injured owner or worker can recover against the bond up to the $3,000 penal sum.
If your job sizes grow or you do certain non-landscaping hardscape work, the LCB may require a higher tier — $10,000, $15,000, or up to $20,000. If you’re unsure which applies, send us your LCB application and we’ll confirm before issuing.
These are the actual issuing fields — the application collects no credit information.
