The 169th Fighter Wing at McEntire Joint National Guard Base in Eastover, SC has requirements for the service and maintenance of flightline Amerex 600K rolling fire extinguishers. Further details regarding service criteria are in the attached Performance Work Statement. This contract opportunity is reserved exclusively for small business participation. Please see attached SF1449, Performance Work Statement, and the applicable Wage Determination.
We are requesting a firm-fixed-price quotation for the service and maintenance of (17) Amerex 600K rolling fire extinguishers that are due for service.
The Government intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract to the responsible quoter whose quote for CLIN 0001 is the lowest priced. To be considered responsible, the quoter must meet all general responsibility standards at RFO FAR 9.401-1.

Due to time constraints, a site visit has not been planned and cannot be guaranteed. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and non-personal services necessary to perform inspection, maintenance, agent recovery, hydrostatic testing, and recertification of (17) seventeen 150 lb. wheeled Halon fire extinguishers (Amerex Model 600 or equivalent high-pressure steel cylinder units). Work includes pre-test inspection, disassembly and EPA-compliant agent recovery, hydrostatic pressure testing, post-test processing and reassembly, and recharge, pressurization, and functional verification. All services shall be performed in accordance with NFPA 10, DOT cylinder requalification guidelines, and manufacturer specifications. The Government highly prefers on-site service using a self-contained, mobile testing/recertification trailer.
