The contractor shall furnish and install a 6 feet by 10 feet bullet-proof security guard booth with Level 3 ballistic proof glass windows, doors, and panels. The work includes removal of the existing Guardian booth, removal and reconnection of electrical power, and installation of a main electrical disconnect. The contractor shall also furnish and install eight crash-resistant steel bollards to encompass the booth, dug to a depth of 3 feet or required ASTM standards, with concrete, capable of stopping a 5000 lb. vehicle at 30 mph (M30), and must be removable. The contractor must provide submittals on building and bollard specifications, develop a plan and timeline, and perform work between 8:00am and 5:00pm Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays, with possible weekend and afterhours work. The contractor is responsible for all tools, materials, and equipment, and must keep the work area clean.
