The contractor shall furnish all supervision, materials, equipment, vehicles, tools, parts, labor, transportation, lodging, and miscellaneous items to replace two water booster pumps and storage tank floats. Base bid items include: 001 Remove Existing Plumbing and Valves; 002 Install two new water booster pumps with in-kind specifications; 003 Install new plumbing and valves including shutoff gate valves, strainers, non-slam check valves, throttling valves, test plugs, pressure gages, and a flow switch; 004 Replace three pump-up floats and cord/wiring at the water storage tank; 005 Water Storage Tank Float Control Box Maintenance (remove abandoned conduit, install weatherproof caps, seal penetrations); and 006 Testing and Commissioning (field test each pump, test pump and float system in unison, provide signed test report). The performance period is 90 calendar days after notice to proceed.
