Durham Asbestos Abatement Services "Solicitation"
The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, tools, and transportation necessary to remove asbestos-containing floor tile, mastic, and associated components in designated areas of the Durham VA Health Care System. Work includes mobilization and containment setup, installation of protective barriers, removal of floor tile and mastic using non-friable methods, cleaning, waste packaging and offsite disposal, post-removal TEM air clearance sampling, and demobilization. Work locations include Building 1, 1st Floor B-Wing Dental Areas (approx. 310 sq ft) and Building 1 Mezzanine (approx. 760 sq ft). All work shall be completed within 10 calendar days after Notice to Proceed.
